Frequently asked questions
I have received an unexpected alert. What should I do?
Check the alert type and live location in your app. Do not confront anyone or place yourself at risk. If you believe a theft or attempted theft is taking place, contact the police and then call DefenderDefender for support.
Why did I receive a power-disconnection or tamper alert?
The system is designed to warn you when activity may indicate interference or a loss of vehicle power. If no authorised work is taking place, check the vehicle from a safe position and contact us if you are unsure.
I cannot access the app or see my vehicle.
Use the Defender Bot or send an enquiry with your name, vehicle registration and the email address associated with the account. Never include a password in your message.
How do I get help with my subscription?
Send us the vehicle registration, account email and the plan you purchased. We can then help identify the correct billing record and next step.
I am selling or changing my vehicle.
Contact us before the handover so we can explain the options for the installed system and the account. The right route depends on the equipment and subscription.
Can the vehicle be remotely cut off?
Remote cut-off must be handled responsibly and only when it is safe and appropriate. Contact the DefenderDefender team for guidance about your installed system.
